How do I book an appointment?

Book online any time with the Appointments button, or call the salon at (516) 887-2800 / (516) 887-2801 and we will find a time that works for you.

Do you take walk-ins?

When the book allows, yes — but weekends and evenings fill early. A quick call ahead is always the safest way to get the chair and stylist you want.

How far in advance should I book?

For a cut, a week is usually plenty. For colour corrections, extensions and any Saturday appointment, two to three weeks is more comfortable.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Just let us know at least 24 hours ahead so we can offer the time to someone else. Call the salon and we will move you to the next opening that suits you.

Can I request a specific stylist?

Absolutely. Tell us who you would like when you book — and if you are new to us, describe your hair and we will match you with the right person.

Services

Do you cut curly hair?

Yes. Our stylists have all trained at the Deva Chan Salon in NYC and cut and style curly hair specifically tailored to each individual's curl pattern and hair texture.

Should I come in with my hair washed or dry?

For a curly cut, arrive with clean, dry, product-free hair worn the way you normally wear it. For colour, day-old hair is perfectly fine.

Do you offer colour consultations?

We do, and they are free. Bring photos of what you love — we will talk through what is realistic for your hair, how many sessions it takes and how to keep it.

Can you take care of my wedding party?

We do bridal trials, the bride, bridesmaids and flower girls, plus make up — from simple and elegant to over the top extravagant.

Do you offer make up services?

We offer full face and eyes only application, eyelashes and spray tan — perfect on their own or alongside a formal style.

Do you work with keratin and smoothing treatments?

Yes — texturizing and smoothing services are part of the menu. Your stylist will assess your hair first and recommend the strength that keeps it healthy.

What does a service cost?

Every head of hair is different, so all of our services are priced individually. Give us a call and we will walk you through pricing for exactly what you have in mind.

Which product lines do you carry?

Goldwell, Kerasilk, Elumen, evo and Original & Mineral. Retail is available in the salon — call ahead and we will hold your regulars at the desk.

How do I keep my colour looking fresh at home?

Colour-safe shampoo, cooler water and a weekly treatment do most of the work. Your stylist will write the routine on your card before you leave.

Visiting the Salon

When are you open?

Tuesday through Thursday 10am - 8pm, Friday 10am - 7pm, and Saturday 9am - 5pm. We are closed Sunday and Monday.

Where are you located?

261 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre, NY 11570 — in the heart of the village.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes — village metered spots run along Merrick Road, with municipal lots a short walk away. The LIRR station is a few minutes on foot.

Can I bring my child in for a cut?

Of course. We love a first haircut — mention it when you book so we can allow a little extra time in the chair.
